Formation:
a journey of growth and self-formation
Our formation takes place in the world where we live and work. In fact, secularity also concerns our way of formation/self-formation, with a personalized style and the use of instruments suited to personal conditions of surroundings, family, work, level of preparation, service performed, etc.

The formation commitment helps each person to seek the will of God in her life and to do most readily whatever may be most pleasing to the Father. The journey towards consecration requires progressive formation and leads an individual to unify all the aspects and facets of her life, seeking harmony and bestowing meaning on all her attitudes and aptitudes. Albeit in the plurality of situations and cultures, and in full respect for each person's identity, formation is one and the same since one and the same is the charism.

The process of discernment and preparation is lengthy, intense and gradual, and helps each person to live her own family, work and apostolic situation in the local church so she may learn how to be a missionary "in the dough of the world", and may verify her ability and readiness to assume forever a consecration which demands radical dedication. In a particular way during the period of searching and preparation for the commitment, each person is accompanied by a mentor who initiates her to an assimilation of the Institute's spirituality, an understanding of what is requested by the Constitution, and the translation thereof into life itself.

Donation is the first true commitment with God in the Institute. Consecration marks the bond forever with the Lord and full incorporation into the Institute. Formation, however, continues throughout our life. The Institute offers the following instruments of formation: periodical personal and group encounters, formation publications, monthly days and annual courses of renewal, study and updating days.
